Position Overview: As the central point of contact, you will oversee SGO and Kinship assessments, viability assessments, and non-agency adoption evaluations. Collaborating closely with allocated social workers, you'll ensure that each child receives tailored, compassionate support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of connected persons.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with families.
  • Oversee workshops for prospective Special Guardians and kinship carers.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare court reports.
  • Monitor and report on outcomes and placement effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Recognised social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in children's social care, focusing on connected persons and kinship placements.

  • Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and frameworks.
