Principal Electronic Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electronic Design Engineer to join our Firing Units team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing electronic equipment to integrate MBDA products into platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers in circuit design, prototyping, testing, and integration/design proving of hardware needed for Launch Management systems, datalink and communications systems, and embedded computing resources for larger Command and Control systems.
  • Work at all stages of the project life cycle and deliver a clear and well-thought-out plan to meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to drive innovation and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified with demonstrable post-qualification experience in Electronic Design, development, and delivery.
  • Experience in electronic sub-system design, including circuit and system design for EMC and environmental requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and planning skills.
