Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at CareTech Group. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential settings.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading social care provider, delivering a package of individually tailored care and support solutions to children, young people, and adults across the UK. Our Residential Support Workers receive specialist training in early trauma, CSE, HSB, Children's rights, and participation, working to a multi-disciplinary approach with clear measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care and support to young people in our residential settings
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a consistent, predictable, and nurturing environment
  • Support young people in developing their skills and confidence
  • Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans
Requirements
  • Hold a full driving license and have access to a vehicle due to rural location
  • Able to work a shift pattern of 2 on 4 off (8am – 10pm including sleep-in nights)
  • Experience in a similar setting (minimum 3 months preferred)
  • QCF Level 3 Children & Young People qualification or equivalent (preferred not essential)
