About the Role:

  1. The successful candidate will support Client Projects and Depots in verifying necessary controls and providing guidance to operational teams, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
  2. This challenging role involves conducting SHE Inspections across various Delivery Projects within the designated region, identifying gaps and non-compliances.
  3. The Safety and Compliance Specialist will be responsible for carrying out ISO45001 Inspections at aligned Depots, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough SHE Inspections, documenting findings and recommending improvements.
  2. Undertake ISO45001 Inspections, ensuring ongoing certification and adherence to regulatory standards.
  3. Develop and implement solutions to enhance safety performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  4. Provide expert guidance to operational colleagues, promoting a culture of safety awareness.
  5. Support the development and implementation of the client's SHE Plans.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  1. NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  2. Proven experience in construction or Utilities Projects, with a strong understanding of current legislation.
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

A competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
