About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Mitchell Maguire, a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our client base in the electrical distribution sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targeted revenue growth of circa £3m
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with M&E contractors, installers, end-users, consultants, and specifiers
  • Stimulate demand and pull orders through our dedicated distribution partner CEF
  • Manage a portfolio of ¾ CEF groups to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base
Requirements
  • Proven external sales experience in the electrical distribution sector
  • Strong knowledge of switchgear and related electrical products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Driven and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
