Child and Adolescent Mental Health Nurse Vacancy

Appoint Healthcare is a reputable provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs. We are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or a skilled Registered learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) or a qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team in Blackburn.

This role involves working in a four-bedded child and adolescent inpatient service where children with high acuity needs, such as self-harm, challenging behaviours, and a range of mental health issues, will receive care. As a dedicated Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to 8-17 year olds while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.

To succeed in this role, you will need a relevant nursing qualification (RMN, RNLD, or RGN), a valid NMC registration with no restrictions or referrals, and eligibility to live and work in the UK. A minimum of 6 months of CAMHS or mental health experience as a nurse in the UK is also required, along with strong team-working skills and a high level of emotional intelligence.

This position offers a salary of £30,030 - £46,150 per annum, making it an attractive opportunity for nurses looking to develop their skills and expertise in child and adolescent mental health.
