Job RequirementsWe are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. Your expertise in supporting Cisco, SDWAN, load balancing, Firewalls, and Wi-Fi technologies will be essential in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our network.
Key Responsibilities- Implementing Network Infrastructure Solutions: Design and implement network infrastructure solutions based on business requirements and best practices.
- Support and Maintenance: Support and maintain our core network infrastructure, ensuring its reliability and scalability.
- Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor network traffic, analyze network performance data, and identify and resolve network issues.
- BAU Changes: Perform BAU changes across all systems under our change control process.
- Troubleshooting Network Incidents: Troubleshoot network incident investigations in our LAN and WAN environments.
- Collaboration with 3rd Party Suppliers: Work closely with 3rd party suppliers such as network providers, network security providers, and service partners.
- Design Documents: Create low-level and high-level design documents for network infrastructure projects.
- Network Product Management: Configure and manage our portfolio of network products and technologies, including Cisco and Checkpoint.
- Network Assessments and Audits: Conduct network assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Collaboration with IT Teams: Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of network infrastructure projects.
- Industry Trends and Best Practices: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to network infrastructure and security.
- On-Call Rota: Participate in the on-call rota.
- Minimum 5 Years' Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- CCNA Certification: Minimum CCNA certified.
- Complex Network Troubleshooting: Experience of troubleshooting complex enterprise networks and associated technologies.
- Troubleshooting Tools: Experience of using tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG, and other troubleshooting tools.
- Administering and Troubleshooting Technologies: Experience of administering and troubleshooting the following technologies and platforms: Cisco ACI/APIC, Cisco ASA and Firepower, Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switching, Cisco ISE, SD-WAN, Checkpoint Gateways and Maestro, Meraki switches and Access Points, and A10 Load Balancers.
