Clinical Pharmacy Service Development

This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated clinical pharmacist to join our innovative pharmacy team at Wexham Park Hospital, driving the development of the clinical pharmacy service in critical care and theatres.

About the Job
  • To work closely with other senior pharmacists, clinicians, and nursing staff to develop the clinical pharmacy service, ensuring seamless integration across multiple sites.
  • Support the training and development of pharmacist independent prescribers, empowering them to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Act as a role model in clinical pharmacy practice, setting high standards and promoting best practices.
  • Lead on proposing policy or service changes to enhance the quality of the pharmacy service, fostering a culture of excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess significant post-qualification experience as a pharmacist in a clinical environment, with a strong track record of producing guidelines, drug appraisals, and managing staff. They will also demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
