About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Integration Architect to join our team at MBDA. As a key member of our Systems Development and Architecture team, you will play a crucial role in developing solutions for the integration of cutting-edge systems onto air platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop complex systems, preferably in the defence industry, with a strong focus on systems thinking and trade studies.
  • Design and deliver work packages, leveraging project engineering knowledge and experience with system architecture tools.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Design Authorities, Aircraft Authorities, and other programme teams.
  • Develop requirement sets and work with different stakeholder groups to ensure effective communication of technical information.
  • Familiarity with system architecture tools, including DOORS and Rhapsody, is highly desirable.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in developing complex systems, preferably in the defence industry.
  • Strong systems thinking skills with the ability to initiate and drive trade studies.
  • Experience of developing MBSE solutions with practical implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience developing requirement sets, and an ability to work with different stakeholder groups.
  • Familiarity with system architecture tools, including DOORS and Rhapsody is desirable.
  • A level of project engineering knowledge to be able to design and deliver work packages.
  • Knowledge of any of the following areas would be highly beneficial: aircraft airworthiness and certification; integration and trials; aircraft Stores Management Systems; environmental requirements; EMC; UK MOD acquisition process.
