Job Title: Integration System Architect

We are seeking an experienced Integration System Architect to join our team at MBDA. As an Integration System Architect, you will play a crucial role in developing solutions for the integration of cutting-edge systems onto air platforms.

About the Role:

This exciting role offers the chance to work with a number of varied internal and external programmes, including the potential to help develop future international standards and systems. You will be responsible for developing solutions for existing and future programmes, from initial concept scoping and project scoping through to delivery of prototype systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop complex systems, preferably in the defence industry
  • Strong systems thinking skills with the ability to initiate and drive trade studies
  • Experience of developing MBSE solutions with practical implementation
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience developing requirement sets, and an ability to work with different stakeholder groups including Design Authorities, Aircraft Authorities
  • Familiarity with system architecture tools, including DOORS and Rhapsody is desirable
  • A level of project engineering knowledge to be able to design and deliver work packages
  • Knowledge of any of the following areas would be highly beneficial: aircraft airworthiness and certification; integration and trials; aircraft Stores Management Systems; environmental requirements; EMC; UK MOD acquisition process
