Distribution Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Distribution Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day distribution operations while driving sales performance across key accounts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for logistics and supply chain management, along with a proven track record in sales growth and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage daily distribution centre operations, including warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfilment.
* Develop and implement efficient logistics processes to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
* Collaborate with sales teams to drive business development, grow key accounts, and achieve sales targets.
* Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to both distribution and sales, adjusting strategies as needed.
* Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure product availability and maintain strong relationships.
* Lead, motivate, and develop distribution and sales teams to achieve operational excellence.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and industry regulations.
* Manage budgets and cost control measures to optimize profitability.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and sales growth initiatives.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, or operations management, with a focus on sales.
* Proven success in sales management, including experience in negotiating contracts and managing customer relationships.
* Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management processes.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
