Senior Front-end Engineer for AI-Powered Annotation Tool

We are V7 Labs, a leading provider of trustworthy AI solutions. As a Senior Front-end Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing our core editor logic and annotation tool alongside our Elixir back-end engineers.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects that require expertise in front-end development. Our ideal candidate has experience with Vue.js or similar frameworks and a proven track record of working with highly interactive web platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing a collaborative annotation UI that can handle hundreds of thousands of annotations at the same time, supporting various file types such as images, videos, documents, 3D models, and medical records.
  • Designing and implementing efficient data migration processes to move large datasets from one state to another, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Crafting complex non-linear workflows that describe how data gets annotated, including automation steps, pre-processing, branching, webhooks, and more.
  • Built-in AI-in-the-loop workflows that enable users to leverage models on our platform to improve labeling quality and speed.

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and collaborate with experts in AI and machine learning.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of hands-on front-end experience.
  • Strong experience with TypeScript and Vue.js or similar frameworks.
  • Demonstrated passion for data-driven code and memory optimization to deliver high-performance front-end solutions.
  • Experience with web workers and ability to leverage them to enhance application performance.
  • Familiarity with WebAssembly and its practical applications in front-end development.
  • Obsessed about testing at different levels: unit-, integration-, and end-to-end.
  • Passion for front-end observability and familiarity with relevant stack (e.g., LightHouse).
  • A basic understanding of what Deep Learning is and a keen interest in AI.
  • Fluent in English.
