About the Role:

The Suttons Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented SSHEQ Coordinator to join our team in Widnes. As a key member of our SSHEQ department, you will be responsible for managing the process of document approval, review, and storage to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage document approval, review, and storage processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Work closely with the SSHEQ manager and other department members to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Compile safety statistics and safety dashboards as required.
  • Provide administrative support for iAuditor users.
  • Arrange weekly safety reviews and circulate incident data as needed.
  • Maintain the customer complaints log and supplier/sub-contractor non-conformances log.
  • Support auditors in the closure of non-conformances from internal/external audits.
  • Provide information for new business tenders, suppliers' approval process, and customer audits.
  • Maintain the process for document approval and review, ensuring new documents are correctly formatted and referenced.
  • Complete periodic reviews of departmental documentation to check for missing, unapproved, or overdue documents.
  • Maintain the process for supplier/sub-contractor approval.
  • Compile and maintain environmental data for reporting.
  • Support the SSHEQ manager with new environmental reporting.
  • Maintain the SSHEQ training program as required.
  • Maintain training records, filing, and archiving.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of Quality management systems.
  • GCSE grades in maths and English.
  • Excellent IT skills and administration skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2015 is a distinct advantage.
