Job Description

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Heat Network Expert. As a key member of our Low-Carbon Consulting team, you will play a crucial role in delivering two major grant funding programmes aimed at improving the efficiency of district and communal heat networks in the UK.

Your primary responsibilities will include engaging with heat network operators, prospective applicants, and funded projects to provide advice and guidance on the funding schemes. You will also manage the application and assessment process, coordinate with the assessment team and applicants, and ensure that all relevant information is made available in a timely manner to support the assessment process.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a good understanding of the heat network sector. Experience working in a consultancy or project delivery environment is essential, and you should be able to demonstrate responsibility for delivering complex projects or multiple projects simultaneously.

The salary for this position is £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus an excellent benefits package including 25 days annual leave, private Bupa healthcare, life assurance, matched pension contributions, season ticket loan, cycle to work scheme, and more.
