Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Specialist

At RWE AG, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Little Barford Power Station. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the technical delivery of day-to-day maintenance and planning and delivery of electrical work packages for outages within an allocated time frame.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prioritize, and execute day-to-day electrical maintenance, including proactive routine maintenance of electrical apparatus (e.g., 415V switchgear, motors, electrical actuators).
  • Ensure compliance with maintenance and operational safety policies, procedures, and plant equipment standards within the discipline area.
  • Develop and improve Local Maintenance Strategies to align with the overall Asset Strategy, while providing technical support to maintenance technicians.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and oversee contracts for daily activities and specific projects.
  • Foster a culture of innovation to drive continuous business performance improvements.
Requirements and Experience:
  • Qualified to HNC, HND, or Degree level in a relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Extensive experience in large industrial electrical systems, with proven ability to manage small teams and complex plant issues.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities, with a keen attention to detail, and well-developed analytical, organizational, and commercial awareness.

  • An expected starting salary from approximately £53,000 to £64,000 depending on experience and up to 15% annual bonus.
