We are seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Teknikal Specialist Recruitment Ltd. As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance tasks and services on mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance tasks and services on mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment.
  • Support the operational teams by using effective fault-finding techniques to resolve breakdowns during production periods.
  • Mentor and train apprentices and junior technicians, supporting their development.
  • Record all completed tasks, maintain a stock inventory, and track order spare parts.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the team.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, food safety, and hygiene.
Requirements
  • Apprenticeship qualified or equivalent.
  • Positive can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Proven track record in Wafer Fabrications or clean room environment.
  • Proven track record in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical fitting, and fabrication.
  • Proven track record in electrical motors, controls panels, and fault finding on PCBs down to component level.
  • Ability to follow a logical thought process when troubleshooting issues.
  • Easy-going and friendly approach towards peers, with good relationship-building skills.
  • Proven track record working in full PPE with chemicals.
  • Enjoy working and contributing to a small close-knit team.
  • Willingness to keep learning and developing engineering skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow schematics and electrical drawings.
