About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team near Kempston, Bedford. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance tasks and services on mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks and services on mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Support the operational teams by using effective fault-finding techniques to resolve breakdowns during production periods.
  3. Record all completed tasks, maintain a stock inventory, and track ordered spare parts.
  4. Maintain high standards of health and safety, food safety, and hygiene.
  5. Work in a clean room environment and have a proven track record with Wafer Fabrications.
  6. Have a proven track record with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical fitting, and fabrication.
  7. Have a proven track record with electrical motors, control panels, and fault finding on PCBs down to component level.
  8. Be easy-going and have a friendly approach towards peers and be good at building relationships.
  9. Work in full PPE with chemicals and have a willingness to keep learning and developing yourself and your engineering skills.
  10. Understand and follow schematics and electrical drawings.
