About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team, responsible for securing new contracts with clients and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage with potential and existing clients through a combination of networking, cold calling, and targeted outreach.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in potential client organizations.
  • Lead negotiations with clients to drive/secure new contracts, ensuring terms are favourable for both parties.
  • Build new and maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
Requirements
  • Full, valid UK driving licence.
  • A sales professional with a background in the energy sector – low carbon, renewable energy, and decarbonisation.
  • An experienced negotiator in face-to-face selling with an ability to 'close the sale.'
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of personal presentation.
  • A mechanical/electrical engineering qualification would be ideal.
