Cyber Defence Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Defence Manager to lead our cybersecurity efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a secure digital environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect our IT environment.
- Implement and maintain security policies, protocols, and standards.
- Manage real-time threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability assessments.
- Deploy security solutions and collaborate with internal teams.
- Work with external security partners to ensure high-quality support and proactive risk management.
- Provide regular security metrics reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- CISSP, CISM, or similar professional certification.
- Significant experience in cybersecurity management within a medium-to-large organisation.
- Extensive knowledge of security technologies, risk assessment, and vulnerability management.
- Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST frameworks.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Location: Cambridge (90% remote) Estimated Salary Range: £75,000 + Bonus
