Youth Development Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Development Officer to join our team in Liverpool. This role is focused on supporting young people at risk of offending, experiencing poor life chances, or involved in the criminal justice system.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and work with young people in various settings to reduce the risk of offending and harm to others.
- Develop and deliver individual and group programs to support young people's personal and social development.
- Maintain accurate records of all work with young people, using electronic recording systems as required.
- Collaborate with statutory and voluntary partners to offer positive opportunities for young people.
The ideal candidate will have a graduate-level qualification in an area related to working with young people or offenders. Relevant experience working with young people and their families is essential. The successful applicant will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with young people displaying challenging behavior.
Salary: £35 per hour inclusive of holiday pay. 35 hours per week. 3-month initial contract with possibility of extension after this.
