Senior Production Operative

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mechanical Production Technician to join our team at Galliford Try. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective assembly and testing of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test mechanical components and sub-assemblies in accordance with design specifications and production schedules.
- Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Identify and report any defects or issues with products or equipment.
- Collaborate with production management and other team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a mechanical production or assembly role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and management.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities.
