We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Biomedical Scientist/Biomedical Scientist Trainee to join our team at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care and research.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct a range of laboratory tests and analyses to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Develop and implement new laboratory procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide clinical advice and support.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new research projects and initiatives.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in clinical biochemistry and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
- First Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Master's Degree or equivalent in Clinical Biochemistry or a related field.
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath) or equivalent.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- PhD in a relevant field.
