Delivery Management System Team Lead

Westlakes Recruit is seeking an experienced Delivery Management System Team Lead to join our team on a permanent basis, located in Workington.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise the team in the control and coordination of the Delivery Management System (DMS).


Coordinate all activities and ensure the DMS is fully resourced as required, acting as the first point of contact for personnel absence and holiday requests.


Ensure shift patterns are aligned with operational and business requirements.


Manage potential conflicts and respond to contractor or customer concerns and complaints.


Handle system failures and minimize unexpected downtime.


Support the team in making decisions around reassigning, updating, and cancelling DMS data.


Provide an interface/point of contact for suppliers and management.


Maintain regular communication with the Site Manager and relevant stakeholders.


Ensure current output/display is maintained and up to date and accurate.


Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders through face-to-face, telephone, and email communication.


Manage the administration and correction of inaccuracies, effectively managing employee performance.


Support performance with continual coaching and ensuring personnel are trained and competent.


Gather and create effective reports for analysis around Key Performance Indicators (KPI).


Comply with Level 2 of HSE Employee Responsibility and Accountability.
