Job Title: German Speaking Account Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced German Speaking Account Manager to join our team at Owen Daniels. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products and services to major accounts in the German and East European regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieving Sales Targets: You will be responsible for achieving sales targets and managing major accounts, driving business development opportunities.
  • Business Development: You will develop new business opportunities and action plans for new purchase order placement.
  • Sales Activity Monitoring: You will monitor sales activity on major contracts and report weekly on targets, gaps, and recovery plans.
  • Market Knowledge: You will maintain detailed knowledge of products, market trends, and competitor activity, advising the Director of Sales on significant developments.
  • Conflict Resolution: You will lead conflict resolution and ensure compliance with long-term agreements, conducting quarterly customer reviews to align with P&L objectives.

Requirements:

  • Language Skills: You must have fluent knowledge of written and spoken German.
  • Industry Experience: You must have strong experience of sales and account management within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Travel Requirements: EU and UK travel will be an essential part of this role, and you must be willing to travel overseas on a weekly basis.
