A Key Role within Our Team

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Railway Lodge Care Home. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being is met. Your leadership skills and expertise will contribute to the success of our care home, supporting our mission to deliver outstanding care in safe, positive, and flexible environments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Care Delivery: You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our residents, assessing their physical health and monitoring their progress within their care plans. This includes implementing personalized care strategies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care delivery.
  • Team Supervision: You will supervise care staff and new recruits, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the highest standards of care. Effective communication and coaching are essential to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Care Quality Assurance: You will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance the overall quality of care. This may involve reviewing care plans, assessing staff performance, and suggesting training initiatives.
  • Shift Management: You will manage shifts effectively, ensuring adequate staffing levels and allocating tasks accordingly. Your organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks will be essential in maintaining a smooth running care home.

    To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:

    • Valid UK NMC Pin: Demonstrate your registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
    • Right to Work in the UK: Confirm your eligibility to work in the UK.
    • Ability to Work Independently: Show your capacity to work autonomously and lead a team.
    • Good Written and Oral English: Display excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
    • Minimum 1 Year Experience in UK Care Home Setting: Highlight your relevant experience working in a care home setting in the UK.
