As a Data Science Engineer, you'll leverage data, machine learning, and software development expertise to create high-impact models that drive business growth. Our team consists of sports modeling experts and data science technologists, working together to develop innovative products that deliver measurable value across our Sportsbook platform.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Create statistical and machine learning models and integrate them into DS applications
- Develop production-quality code to deploy and run models in our sportsbook platform
- Utilize our MLOps platform to train and productionize ML models
- Collaborate closely with product, developers, QAs, and delivery leads to move projects from ideation to development and deployment
- Ensure seamless data flows and effective model integration within the larger business context
We're seeking a skilled professional with:
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience building statistical or machine learning models for sports
- Solid understanding of data science and statistical modeling principles
- Knowledge of MLOps principles and related tools (a plus)
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- PhD, Masters, or Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
