About the role:
The Operations Manager will lead and manage the Financial Planning Administration team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, timely support to Paraplanners and Financial Planners. Key responsibilities include maintaining efficiency and compliance in our financial advice process, monitoring team Key Performance Indicators, managing individual and team performance, and fostering a motivated, knowledgeable, and compliant team environment.

About you:
We are seeking an experienced customer or client operations administrator within financial services looking for their first management position. You will be responsible for producing regular management information and reports while enabling your team to handle inquiries and challenges effectively. You are dedicated to your associates’ development, supporting their growth and career progression. With strong analytical skills, you will use data to drive process improvements and maintain high service standards.

Key responsibilities:
- Support and monitor team Key Performance Indicators and manage individual performance
- Develop robust processes for new business and financial planning requests
- Enhance product, technical, and regulatory knowledge
- Review and manage escalated issues and complaints
- Responsible for the management and organization of the Financial Planning Support team
- Produce regular management information and reports
- Demonstrate flexibility to support colleagues during high work volumes
- Ensure adequate team resourcing and effective planning
- Handle complex inquiries, including complaints and escalated issues
- Challenge service delivery methods and implement improvements
- Support associates in their development and monitor progress
- Analyze data for process improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Experienced Paraplanner or Financial Services Administrator
- Experience managing teams and delivering coaching
- Relevant industry supervision qualification such as J07 or AF6 is desirable
- Ideally qualified to Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) standard or above
- Experience with Intelligent Office
