Job Title: Premises Manager

About the Role:

Horizon Care and Education is seeking a skilled Premises Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our two school sites in Deal, Kent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including managing contractors, completing compliance checks, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the school sites and vehicles, working independently across two sites with a variety of responsibilities and tasks to complete on a daily/weekly basis
* Supervise external contractors when needed, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard
* Complete compliance checks and manage external contractors completing compliance works, including fire, legionella (water), asbestos, and gas/electrical
* Provide a high level of customer service to staff, students, and visitors
* Read and understand risk assessments and method statements, safe systems of work
* Be prepared to work irregular hours if required to complete urgent tasks
