Nursery Teaching Assistant - High Wycombe
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Nursery Teaching Assistant. In this rewarding role, you will work with children with Autism, Complex Social Needs, and varying levels of academic ability, providing support and care to those who require it most.
As a member of our team, you will contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Management Plans (BMPs), working closely with our experienced staff to ensure effective implementation. You will also participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with complex needs, promoting independence and confidence
- Implement strategies to promote engagement and participation in educational activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective teamwork and coordination
- Provide positive interactions to create a sense of acceptance and understanding
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special needs, preferably in a similar setting. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations. A willingness to undertake further training and development is essential.
Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
