Job Title: Care Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Manager to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Manager, you will be responsible for the growth and development of our domiciliary care service, ensuring the delivery of outstanding quality care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Director to coordinate the development of a high-quality private domiciliary care service for older people in the local area
  • Converting new client enquiries and coordinating staffing rotas
  • Care planning and conducting risk assessments to ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • Managing a team to ensure exceptional service delivery to our clients and effective workload management
  • Ensuring successful operation of quality control systems and performing quality assurance visits for clients

Requirements:

  • Extensive care experience with a proven track record in providing consistent excellent customer service
  • Proven experience in leading, training, and managing a team to provide high-quality domiciliary care services
  • Strong skills in conducting care assessments and care planning
  • Good understanding of systems and processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Drive and motivation to take on a broad role and develop care services
  • Passion for providing the highest quality of care
  • Ability to work well and accurately under pressure
  • Responsiveness, agility, and calmness while dealing with multiple priorities
  • Flexibility to meet demands of the business, including participating in an on-call rota
  • Good working knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office or Google Suite, and experience with databases and virtual communication platforms

What We Offer:

Competitive salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications, with a salary review after the successful completion of the 3-month probation period. A salary range of £35,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on performance.
