Care UK is a leading provider of private care services, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care to our residents. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home Manager to join our team at Heather View, a vibrant and dedicated care home in Crowborough, East Sussex.

As a Home Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of care professionals in delivering high-quality care to our residents. You will be expected to promote a caring environment that is delivered according to the latest guidelines, best practice, legislative and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide effective leadership and management to the care team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver exceptional care.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible service.
  3. Manage the financial and commercial aspects of the care home, ensuring that we are operating within budget and meeting our financial targets.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with relatives, residents, purchasers, and external agencies, ensuring that we have a positive reputation in the local community.

What We're Looking For:

  1. 2-3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Residential and Dementia setting.
  2. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  4. Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Health and Safety Legislation, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  5. Ability to innovate and improve processes, ensuring that we are always delivering the best possible service.
