About the Position

As part of our commitment to expanding our electrical services, we are seeking a dedicated Field-Based Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team.

This role involves the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems across various sites in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on electrical engineering expertise and a proactive approach to their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute electrical installation tasks in compliance with the latest I.E.E. Regulations and Construction Industry Safety Standards.
  • Maintain, install, service, and repair electrical and mechanical pump systems within our fleet and at customer locations, ensuring adherence to legislative requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and cost estimates for repairs, while providing guidance on safety matters as needed.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in work areas and vehicles.
  • Ensure compliance with all necessary Risk Assessment and Method Statement protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with management and all stakeholders regarding project timelines, quality expectations, and service levels.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to manage workloads independently.
  • Participate in an on-call rota, responding to call-outs as required.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be JIB Qualified Electricians and meet the criteria for obtaining an ECS Gold Card. A preference for candidates with the 18th Edition qualification is noted. A valid UK Driving Licence is essential, as a company vehicle will be provided for work purposes.
