P+S Personnel is pleased to be working with a leading client seeking an experienced Electrical Field Service Engineer to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide after-sales service, routine maintenance, breakdown support, and repair response for all company-supplied X-ray products.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Develop, commission, and test electro-mechanical and radiation elements of X-ray products, both in-house and on-site.
- Compile commissioning schedules, performance demonstration documentation, technical reports, and associated safety cases, adhering to quality management standards.
- Conduct pre-commissioning checks and inspections of X-ray product final builds, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Organize and supervise performance demonstrations, collaborating with sales and software personnel for system calibrations and radiographic procedure development.
- Provide customer training on equipment preventative maintenance routines, fault finding, and routine operation, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Maintain and upkeep stock X-ray equipment, demonstration systems, and spare parts, ensuring optimal availability and performance.
- Complete reports, risk assessments, and method statement documents (RAMS), other paperwork, and records in line with the quality management system and customer requirements.
- Participate in on-call duties for out-of-office support, providing timely and effective assistance to customers as needed.
- Hold a minimum qualification of HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering.
- Monday to Friday working hours.
- Pension scheme with 4% employer contribution.
