Housing Maintenance and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a Housing Maintenance and Compliance Officer in Barnsley to play a crucial role in ensuring properties comply with all relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in housing management, property compliance, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of housing regulations, building codes and health and safety standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (365) and property management software

About the Role:
This is a part-time position, 30 hours per week, 8.30am until 3pm, Monday to Friday.
Location: Tankersley, Barnsley with travel.
Working Hours: Part time, 30 per week 8.30am until 3pm Mon-Fri.

Working with the Property Management Team:
You will work closely with the property management team to maintain high levels of maintenance and compliance, ensuring the safety, security, and quality of housing stock.
Regulatory Compliance:
You will be responsible for ensuring properties comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in housing management, property compliance, or a related field. Strong knowledge of housing regulations, building codes and health and safety standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (365) and property management software.
Certification or Training:
Certification or training in relevant areas such as fire safety, building inspections, or housing law is advantageous.
