Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our client's team on a 6-month fixed term contract. As a key member of the payroll team, you will be responsible for processing payroll, ensuring compliance with legislation, and providing exceptional support to the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Process payroll, including running, reconciling, statutory reporting, and payments.
- Utilize payroll software, ideally Oracle Payroll, and extensive experience with payroll and expenses systems.
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and statutory regulations.
- Reconcile and upload payments to pension providers.
- Work across multiple systems, including advanced use of Excel and Office 365 suite.
- Manage tight weekly and monthly deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Prior experience with Oracle Payroll software (advantageous).
- Comprehensive knowledge of payroll legislation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Forward-thinking and adaptable to changing operational requirements.
- Experience in working with pension payments and reconciliation.
- Ability to plan, organise, and manage multiple tasks with precision.
