Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Birmingham/Worcester. As a key member of our building services team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing sustainable electrical solutions for a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, residential, education, commercial, industrial, retail, leisure, and heritage.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop electrical systems and layouts for various projects, including lighting, low voltage, security, and fire alarms.
  2. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide technical expertise to ensure successful project outcomes.
  3. Work independently on projects and contribute to the electrical design team's efforts on larger projects.
  4. Mentor and train junior/intermediate level staff, depending on level and experience.
Ideal Candidate:
  1. Experience in a similar role, preferably in a consultancy environment.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  3. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Dialux, with a strong understanding of electrical design principles.
