Electrical Design Engineer

Exsel Design & Integration Limited is a leading provider of defence technology solutions, delivering exceptional engineering expertise and advanced technology systems to our international clients. We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at our Worcestershire site.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and accepting technical solutions for the Defence, Training & Simulation, and Ballistic Protection market sectors. This role will focus on the electrical aspects of projects, working within a multi-disciplinary and multi-site engineering team to deliver complete solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct feasibility studies and engineering assessments to ensure project viability
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to the development of electrical designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including block diagrams and electrical schematics
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in electrical engineering
  • Confident application of electrical engineering fundamentals
  • Experience with integrating electrical systems and testing and inspection to City & Guilds standards
  • Valid driving licence
