We are seeking a skilled Infection Control Specialist to join our team at HMP Onley, a category C Prison located in Rugby.

About the Role

This is a part-time opportunity, working 16 hours per week, with two days of work on Tuesday and Thursdays (negotiable) from 09:00-17:00.

The annual salary for this position is up to £64,471 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

As an Infection Control Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering face-to-face services, enabling patients to obtain health information from the appropriate healthcare professional. You will provide safe and effective health assessments and treatment of patients within the establishment.

  • You will be accountable for your practice, including the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge or referral of patients, independent of medical intervention.
  • You will take an active role within the cross-disciplinary, multi-skilled team to ensure service quality in line with corporate goals and strategy.
