Lawes Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Placement Broker to join our regional broking team. As a Placement Broker, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating strong insurer relationships, providing technical and expert advice to key clients, and delivering tailored insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the corporate insurance market.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on insurance products and risk management.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with insurers and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present market presentations and negotiate with insurers to secure the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Work closely with account executives and other team members to deliver exceptional client service.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial insurance broking, with a strong understanding of the re-insurance market.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products, including property, motor, EL, and PL.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and insurers.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Acturis experience and computer literacy are essential.
  • ACII qualifications or working towards preferred.
