Reeson Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated SEND Teacher to join our team at a post-16 SEN college in Uxbridge. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and support to students with profound and multiple learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons that cater to the unique needs of your students
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters academic growth and personal development
- Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to ensure every student receives tailored support
- Monitor and track student progress to inform instructional decisions and improve outcomes
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in PMLD education through ongoing professional development
Requirements:
- Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS)
- Experience teaching students with SEND in a post-16 SEN college setting
- Working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
Location: Uxbridge, UK
