This opportunity could be suitable for an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor looking for the next step up in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Main Contract Management and Administration: Oversee the management of main contracts and their associated administration.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage the supply chain to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Cost Capture and Control: Capture and control project costs to ensure financial stability.
  • Commercial Reporting: Provide regular commercial reports to stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Planning and Programme Management: Develop and implement project plans and programmes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Foster positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Cash Management: Manage project cash flow.
  • Risk and Value Management: Identify opportunities for value enhancement and manage project risks.

Requirements:

  • Education: HNC/BSc in Quantity Surveying or a similar field.
  • Experience: Experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager in the civil engineering sector.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and communication skills, with experience managing and developing procurement strategies.
