Job Title: Cyber Security Lead with Global Reach

About the Role:
The Spencer Rose Ltd is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Lead to join their team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented individual to take on a key leadership role in shaping the company's cyber security strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise and manage the external SOC provider to ensure out-of-hours events and monitoring are managed in accordance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Lead, coach, and develop a growing team of analysts across two time zones, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Take ownership of the Security Operations Centre (SOC), ensuring that monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management activities have a significant impact on the organization's security posture.
- Create and roll out policies for Security Operations performance, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and industry standards.
- Plan the direction of projects, aligning them with the business' priorities and objectives while maintaining a focus on cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements:
- Proven experience managing a Security Operations Centre (SOC) team, with a strong track record of success in this field.
- Expertise in SIEM, SOAR, and other Security Operations tools, including vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and more.
- Strong people management and influencing skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve outstanding results.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing tasks effectively and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
