Job Title: Learning Support Tutor

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Support Tutor to join our team at the LMP Group. As a Learning Support Tutor, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals, including those with identified learning difficulties and disabilities, to achieve their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality learning support and functional skills training to learners, including one-on-one, group, and webinar sessions.
  • Conduct regular interventions to support learner progress and implement a pedagogical approach during all interactions.
  • Provide pastoral support using the Learning Support Signposting Tools and monitor learner progress.
  • Collaborate with tutors to establish a sequenced learning approach and support peer-to-peer training on functional skills delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to ESFA funding rules and maintain clear evidence of planned and provided learning support.
Requirements:
  • Teaching qualification, such as a C/DET or equivalent, or working towards.
  • Experience delivering high standards of learning and support, including remote delivery of functional skills and additional learning support.
  • Ability to support and motivate learners through difficult times and implement reasonable adjustments for learners.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage own diary.

  • A competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.
