Job Overview

A leading independent school on the Kent borders is seeking a Computer Science Faculty Lead from April or September 2025. This is a permanent position, which would entail teaching Computer Science to A level and managing a very successful department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Computer Science to A level with a focus on delivering engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Manage a successful Computer Science department by overseeing staff development, curriculum design, and resource allocation.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is £55,000 - £65,000, commensurate with experience. The package includes a comprehensive benefits program, including pension scheme, health insurance, and generous holiday entitlement.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching Computer Science at A level.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with ability to motivate and guide staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
