Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Modelling Engineer to join our team in St Neots, UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new capabilities, working closely with our Engineering Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physics and mathematical principles, as well as experience with system design documentation and modelling systems. Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink is also essential.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a large project from its initial stages, helping to manage a small team through the production of Simulink based models for incorporation onto FPGA boards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. System Design and Implementation: Design and implement new capabilities, working closely with the Engineering Manager.
  2. Team Management: Manage a small team through the production of Simulink based models.
  3. Coding and Development: Develop models using MATLAB and Simulink.
Requirements:
  • A degree-level understanding of physics and mathematical principles.
  • Experience with system design documentation and modelling systems.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink.
Desirable Experience:
  • Digital Signal Processing (DSP) experience.
  • Experience managing a small team.
  • Experience with the FPGA build process for Xilinx targets.
  • Requirements Management (Simulink Requirements) experience.
  • Industry knowledge of EW systems.

Salary and Benefits:
