Job Opportunity: Outsourcing Manager

We are seeking an experienced Outsourcing Manager to join our Business Advisory Department in Ipswich. The successful candidate will lead a diverse team of analysts and seniors across our offices, inspiring and motivating them to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of outsourcing analysts and seniors, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and improve client relationships.
  • Manage the conversion of new business opportunities, delivering proposals to prospects through internal relationships and external networking.
  • Ensure the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional results, including expertise in bookkeeping and software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.
  • Review and approve bookkeeping, management accounts, and VAT returns completed by team members, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Manage the workflow of the Bookkeeping team, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Review and approve weekly timesheets, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Agree on client timelines for bookkeeping and VAT returns, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Be the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Occasionally visit client premises to set up and maintain bookkeeping records and quarterly VAT returns.
Requirements:
  • AAT, ACCA, or ACA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in accountancy practice, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Highly organized, with strong bookkeeping and people management skills.
  • Strong IT skills, with experience working with various accountancy systems.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prioritizes communication as a key attribute.
