Electrical Maintenance Lead

Estimated Salary: £43,000 + 10% Bonus (performance-related)

Benefits: Van and fuel for business use, personal use also permitted.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and electrical standards.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise in various electrical systems, driving efficiency and productivity.
  • Perform all electrical tasks according to BS 7671 Amendment 3 2024, upholding industry standards.
  • Monitor performance of engineers, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Deliver training sessions at the company training center and on-site, tracking progress of apprentices and improvers.
  • Conduct regular on-site and post-work inspections, preparing detailed reports of findings.
  • Maintain accurate van stock records.
  • Document and conduct performance reviews for engineers, ensuring their growth and development.
  • Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive improvement.
  • Adhere to company policies and codes of conduct, promoting a positive work culture.
  • Undertake additional duties assigned by Qualified Supervisors, Heads of Department, or senior management.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of the electrical industry, with a strong understanding of its complexities.
  • Able to communicate effectively, providing clear instructions and advice both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks, including Excel and Word.

Qualifications Required:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
  • Full UK driving license.
