Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Workshop Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Plymouth Office. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing material handling equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards.

About the Role:

  • Perform routine maintenance on various types of material handling equipment
  • Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues in a cost-effective manner
  • Collaborate with the workshop team to prioritize tasks and deliver timely repairs
  • Conduct final inspections to ensure all equipment is safe, functional, and meets customer requirements
  • Document job and service records accurately and maintain up-to-date records

Requirements:

  • Relevant technical qualifications in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic engineering (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Proven experience working in a workshop-based engineering role
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
