Job Title: HGV Shift Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced HGV Shift Supervisor to join our team at Scania GB. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of our workshop, managing customer relationships, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily running of the workshop, prioritizing workload to meet customer needs and ensuring a steady flow of work through the workshop.
- Oversee the customer relationship, ensuring customers have great confidence in the workshop through the provision of excellent service.
- Work with your team to adapt capacity to demand and utilize existing resources as efficiently as possible.
- Independently carry out repairs, calibrations, and troubleshooting on Scania vehicles electronic control systems and electrical components.
- Diagnose, analyze, and rectify all types of faults, including engines, gearboxes, and retarders, brake systems, pneumatic, and electrical components.
Requirements:
- Technical experience and qualification.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Experience in the HGV sector.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to build and manage relationships.
- Effective communication skills.
- Effective time management and organization skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to actively seek solutions to problems.
- Actively work part of and lead a team.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic approach.
