Job Title: Learning Mentor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to support the educational and personal development of children who require extra assistance due to various learning challenges. This role involves providing individualized academic support tailored to the specific needs of each child, assisting them in understanding concepts, completing assignments, and developing effective study skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Provide one-to-one support to children with additional needs, helping them to reach their full potential and thrive in an inclusive environment.
  2. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to support, empowering children to become more independent learners and develop essential life skills.
  3. Set achievable goals and milestones with children, tracking progress and celebrating successes.
  4. Liaise with parents and teachers to understand individual needs and develop strategies to support learning.
  5. Advocate for the rights and needs of children with additional needs within the educational system.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to support children's emotional well-being and confidence building.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Education or related field.
  • Experience working with children with additional needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • High level of patience and empathy.

Salary Details:

£80 - 95 per day, depending on experience.
